Motor Control Robots with Voltage Regulator - Phase Voltage Regulation Module
Phase Voltage Regulation Module
- Voltage Regulation Module (VRM) is an electronic circuit.
- Voltage Regulation Module (VRM) controls and step down voltage from its input (e.g.System power rail) to its output (e.g., integrated circuits).
- This Module are implemented when the Motor is running from direct phase (AC) using robotics
- The Main Objective of this application is when the step down transformer delivers 220v it convert into 12v
- When connecting the batteries in Series, doubling the voltage while maintaining the same capacity rating (amp hours).
- The Step Down Transformer steps down the input voltage.
- A diode is a dedicated electronic component with two electrodes called the anode and the cathode.
- Capacitors are made from many different materials, and virtually every electrical and electronic system uses them.
For converting the volt to 12v the following Regulators are used :
Phase Voltage Regulation Module Circuit
- Polarity indicates whether a circuit component is symmetric or not.A polarized component might have two, twenty, or even two-hundred pins, and each one has a unique function or position
Non-polarized and Polarized
- The non-polarized capacitors are of two types .The plastic foil that are nonpolarized by nature. Electrolytic nonpolarized capacitors .These are actually two capacitors in series (back to back) so that the result is nonpolarized with half the capacitance.
- Resistors used in this project is 42k Ohm are a specific, never-changing electrical resistance. Resistors are electronic components. The resistor’s resistance restricts the flow of electrons through a circuit.
