Download and install unofficial CyanogenMod 14 for Oneplus X. Advance of CyanogenMod 14 for OnePlus X has all started. First running build is already available but it consists of bugs. Recently Google launched the official Android 7.0 Nougat for Nexus Devices. Already CM14 ROM for OnePlus 3 is available. Now Android 7.0 Nougat is available for download which based CyanogenMod 14 for Oneplus X. To use CyanogenMod 14 ROM, first we need to be rooted, and TWRP installed on your device.

The ROM is an initial nougat alpha build for OnePlus X and lost many features and capabilities. This build consists of many bugs but that’s upgraded with time. The CM14 Android Nougat for OnePlus X brings Nougat features to your OnePlus X. CyanogenMod 14 for Oneplus X works on Boot, Hotspot and it doesn’t work on RIL, Bluetooth, Wifi and Tri-state keys.

Note:

  • The ROM is a primary nougat alpha build and consists of bugs
  • This ROM is work on OnePlus X so, don’t try on any other device.
  • It may format your data, so it is advisable to take complete backup of your phone.
  • Make sure that your phone has at least 50-60% charged to prevent the accidental shutdown in-between the process.

How to Install CM14 on Oneplus X

Download and install a custom recovery. If you already had a custom recovery installed on your device then skip this step.

Download the CyanogenMod 14 ROM for OnePlus 3 and Gapps and save it on your device.

Now Boot your device into Recovery mode by press and hold “Volume Down+Power Button”

Now you will enter into recovery mode. Now in TWRP, create a Nandroid backup (Recommended) of your device for safer side, if anything goes wrong.

Now do a Factory Reset by Goto Wipe>Advanced Wipe>Select Wipe cache, Dalvik cache, System, and data and swipe to confirm it.

Now, Go to Install and locate the ROM zip file & swipe to Install the ROM file. After the process completes, Flash the GApps zip file.

Now wipe cache & Dalvik cache again and Reboot your device.

CyanogenMod 14 for Oneplus X has been installed successfully.
