Macs have never been known for their gaming performance, and that remains constant if you compare them to similarly priced Windows PCs. 1. Team Fortress 2
Team Fortress 2 is a “Free to Play” Steam game that will maintain you entertained for hours. The game is a multiplayer first person shooter, and it certain is a lot of fun. The graphics in the game are cartoon-styled, and there are 9 classes of players you may play as. Those classes are divided into 3 groups, specifically the Offense group, Support group, and the Defense group. The game has been developed through Valve, and is absolutely an edge of the seat entertainer.
You can choose between two teams (red, and blue), and then fight with your teammates to outperform, and defeat the enemy team. The game has a selection of modes, along with Capture the Flag, and King of the Hill. In Capture the Flag, gamers want to obtain a briefcase of intelligence from the enemy base, and produce it back to their own base. The first team to repeat this feat three times, wins. Whereas, in King of the Hill, there is a valuable control point in the map, and the objective for each team is to gain, and maintain control of it. The game has received extensive critical acclaim, and is definitely one you have to try.

2. Dota 2
Dota 2 is a free to play online multiplayer game. The game looks like other MOBA games such as League of Legends. In a Dota 2 multiplayer game, two teams consisting of five players each, compete against each other to be the first one to destroy the “Ancient”, in the other team’s base. Every player controls a “hero”, and each hero has their own special skills, and style of play.
To achieve the main objective of the game, teams have to play together, and collect experience points, and items, in order to break through the enemy team’s defenses. The first team to destroy their enemy’s “Ancient” is the winner. Dota 2 is the result to “Defense of the Ancients”, which was actually a community built mod for Warcraft III. If you like playing MOBA games, such as League of Legends, Dota 2 will be right up your alley.

3. Brawlhalla
Brawlhalla is another multiplayer fighting game with good graphics, and excellent gameplay. The objective of every player in Brawlhalla, is to knock their enemies off the stage. This can be done by repeatedly attacking them with weapons that are dropped off at regular intervals, all over the map. Speaking of maps, Brawlhalla does not have huge maps. Instead, the maps are tiny, which makes the gameplay fast paced enough to be entertaining and exciting but not so fast that it gets irritating. Each time a player is knocked off stage, they lose a life, and when the majority of their lives are exhausted, they’re out of the game.
Brawlhalla can be played locally, or online, and is a lot of fun, either way. Each character in the game has four qualities such as strength, dexterity, defense, and speed. Together, they define the overall strength of the character. Brawlhalla is definitely a fun game to play, and recommend that you give it a try.

4. BombSquad
BombSquad is a highly addictive game, that is only made better by the fact that you can use iPhones as game remotes to play with friends. In BombSquad, you can choose to play in Single Player mode, or play with friends in co-op mode. The gameplay is fairly smooth, and the music and sound effects make the game a much more interesting to play. This game one of the best on this list, is the fact that it is easy enough to play, up till now surprisingly addictive.
You can punch your enemies, throw bombs at them, pick up objects to chuck at each other, and do a lot more. In the end, is to be the last man standing, and must say that the developers have done an awesome job creating this game. You will definitely enjoy playing it.

5. Octagon
Octagon is an amazing, minimal, arcade game, that gets amazingly difficult, surprisingly fast. The game will have you on the edge of your seat, and will test your reflexes with increasing difficulty every few seconds. In the game, you use the arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate a ball, along a tunnel. There are gaping holes, and missing pieces in the tunnel, and you have to use the arrow keys to turn the right way, at the right time, in order to get through to the end. The rounds only last for around 60 seconds, but getting to that point is difficult enough to keep you wanting more.
The soundtrack keeps the pace up with the speed of the game, and the color scheme will absolutely maintain in the zone, trying to make your way through the maze. To make the game even more challenging, the levels are randomly generated. You can even regenerate levels, if you find them too tough, or too easy.
6. Pool!
It is a game of pool. You can play either against the computer, or against another player. It’s a very simple game, and standard rules apply. You have to sink either all the solids, or all the stripes, followed by the black ball. To make it easier to goal, the game includes a line from the cue ball to where it will strike, depending on the shot power that you select. You will definitely have a lot of fun playing it, particularly against other human players.

World of Tanks Blitz is the macOS adaptation of the hit online game “World of Tanks”. In the game, we get access to over 200 different classes of armoured vehicles, and fight in 18 conflict arenas. The best part about the game, is the 7v7 multiplayer. we have to play with your teammates, and form the best strategies to beat the alternative team. The game has some really good quality graphics, especially considering it’s running on a Mac.
WoT Blitz also has an in-game chat option, so we can communicate with your teammates, and create strategies to defeat the enemy team. The game also has “Battle Missions“, which open up personalized challenges for players, allowing them to unlock bonuses, and achievements.

8. Extreme Road Trip 2
Extreme Road Trip 2 is a fun side scroller in which we driving a car with the gas pedal stuck basically, we can’t stop. The car drives itself, and we just have to use the left, and right arrow keys to control the pitch of the car. We can perform flips in the air to get boosts, and perfect landings give additional boost, so we can go more. On your way, we will find a number of fuel barrels that we can collect, to go even further and break your records.
The controls in the game are just difficult enough to keep you interested. You can even unlock more cars, which have better speed, handling, etc.,

9. Shadow Fight 2
Shadow Fight 2 is a game played on Android phones, iPhone, and the Mac version of the game is equally fun to play. In the game, you’re a warrior who is on a mission to defeat all your enemies. You’re helped along the way by a number of people, all offering a variety of services, including teaching you skills, building weapons etc.
The game has some really great fights, and you can use a variety of weapons to win every fight. Winning fights will reward you with coins, and experience points, which you can use to upgrade your weapons, purchase new weapons, and learn new skills and moves.

10. Bridge Constructor Free
Bridge Constructor Free is a fun, and challenging puzzle game. In the game, an earthquake has destroyed all the bridges in a place, and you’re assigned to rebuild them. The challenge is to build the bridges within the set budget. The game relies on the fact that triangles are highly stable shapes, so you’re supposed to try and make a bridge stable with triangular anchors. Once you’ve designed the bridge in the best way, the bridge is put under stress tests, in which cars drive over it. If it withstands the stress, you are promoted to a new level. You can choose to test the bridge with trucks, instead of cars, if you’re looking for bonus points.
The game becomes very challenging, quickly, and if you like solving puzzles. However, the game can be irritating as well, especially when you’re unable to complete a particular level.
