Dear Ms. Johnson,

I am writing a letter for response of your recent advertisement for the post of CNA job at Golden Acres Retirement Home. I have a certificate on a CNA and I have worked at a nursing home in the same capacity for the past three years.  Though I got interest in social service from childhood days I enjoyed helping other people and providing patient care, and I would believe I have the skills you required for the job.

I used to help the peoples to lift from the bed into wheel chairs and I would take them to shower and I would help them in risky situations where as i am skilled for using Hoyer. I help turn patients who are bedridden to prevent the development of bedsores. I used to talk to them in evening about something these could help them to relieve stress somewhat for them and for me they used to share their thoughts these could gain some knowledge and I have a good interpersonal skill.

I am not annoyed and have no problem with assisting with bathing and cleaning up accidents and vomit. My aim is to help residents be as safe and comfortable as possible while helping keep their rooms clean. I will give  linens and administer medicines that nurses have prepared on carts for the patients.

I am a well known  CNA and I know how to deal with the  patients at Golden Acres Retirement Home would i get  benefit if I was hired. I wish  like to schedule a time for an interview. Since I work is on  the second shift, please call me  before 3:00 PM.

Sincerely,

Susan Stephens
