The average of three numbers is 77. The first number is twice the second and the second number is twice the third. Find the first number ?

Explanation :

Sum of the numbers = 3 × 77 = 231
Let third number be x
Then, second number = 2x
First number = 4x
x + 2x + 4x = 231
⇒x = 33
First number = 4x
x = 132
