  • LOD test is used to estimate the Water & presented other volatile solvents.LOD is mainly preferable for the material with is Purified by solvents.
  • It is the dry base.

  • Water content-remove combined form of water.
  • Water content gives the moisture present in the sample only.
  • Water content is used to estimate the water present in the substance.
  • It is unhydrous base.
