How to fix “Unfortunately Contacts Has Stopped” Error Message on galaxy S3
Error Symptoms :
- contacts stopped working as shown below:
Fix :
1.Clear Phone Cache and Data.
2.Set the contact’s temporary storage area as follows:
a.Go to Settings -> Application Manager
b.Choose All -> Contacts
c.Click Clear Cache button
d.Click Clear data button
e.Go back to previous menu and select Phone
f.Again choose Clear Cache and Clear Data
3.Change Date Format as follows:
a.Go to Settings -> Select More
b.Under Date and Time, select the 24 hours format
4.Delete Unwanted Apps.
- After completing all the above actions, restart the phone under safe Mode. If problem still persist, that indicates the presence of malicious 3rd-party app. Exit Safe Mode and start the phone normally and delete the most recently installed apps prior to shoot up of the problem. Disable/Uninstall it and check whether the error fades away.
5.Finally if problem persist take backup of required data and perform Factory Reset.
6.Last option is to disable google+ app.
