Error Description:
Some of the users have reported that they face the error- Unfortunately ‘App’ has stopped while using the app. It is not so difficult to fix the error. Here are some of the methods to Fix Unfortunately ‘App’ has stopped Error in Android.
Solution 1:
Re-start your device
Sometime just by re-starting your device can solve the issue. So, why not try this once. To re-start your device:
- Unlock the screen of the devices.
- Press and hold the “Power” button until a menu appears.
- Select “Power off“.
- Wait for the device to power off.
- Wait 10 seconds, then press and hold the “Power” button to power the device back ON.
- Now see if this fixes your error or not.
Solution 2:
Clear Cache and Data of apps
- Go to Setting>> Go to Application Setting (In some devices application setting is named as apps).
- Go to, All the apps > >Find the ’App’ >> Clear Cache and Data
- Once you have cleared everything, Next you need to Force Stop the application.
- Now, Restart your device and check whether the error is solved or not.
Solution 3:
Update the app
Many of the time the error is fixed after updating the app. So, if the update is available you should go for it. There are many ‘App’ users who have fixed their issue just by updating the app. To update the app, follow the given process.
Open Google Play Store >>Search for the app
Open the app, If the update is available then click on it otherwise your app has latest version install. So now as you have already latest version of app and still facing the error, follow the below method.
Solution 4:
Uninstall and Reinstall the app
There are chances that the current Version of ‘App’ may have Compatibility Issues. So in this case, you need to Uninstall the app. Just follow the step to Uninstall the app.
- Go to Setting>> Go to Application Setting (In some devices application setting is named as apps).
- Go to, All the apps >> Find the ’App’ >> Click on Uninstall
- Now again go to Google Play Store and download the app
- Your error should be solved by now.
